Also, there is no longer a fear I will lose any important files because by keeping multiple Full, Differential, and Incremental backups I can go back and retrieve that file or files for an earlier backup (a feature that I have already used a couple of times. ![]() Since installing Macrium Reflect just under one-month ago I can back up my data partition and OS partitions with no fear of something not being backed up. I recently converted my PC to dual boot, meaning there are now two OS partitions and, of course, my data partition. Since I had three scheduled backups each evening for different backup sets, 1) certain 'user' files on my OS partition, 2) potential oft used data files (I kept my data files in a separate partition), and 3) my downloads and zip files. Cloning a drive makes an exact duplicate of the one you’re currently using. I copied 260 GB from my external hard drive to my newly-purchased internal one in about 3 hours and 30 minutes. The amount of time it takes will depend on the amount of data and your hard drive speeds.
